The Mark Consulting is very pleased to announce and welcome a new client to its portfolio.
Rodrigo Resende Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy is planning not just to grow in terms of its already-blossoming number of students, but also see the number of its locations soar as well. They have tasked The Mark Consulting to lead the charge.
“We are hoping The Mark Consulting can help us achieve the next level as nowadays social media and online marketing is the way to go,” said Resende, whose current location is an exceptional space in Spruce Grove, Alberta, but plans are currently under way to add three more gyms in the Edmonton area.
Resende was initially attracted to The Mark’s work after seeing some of the creations from Jesse Martineau, who develops a great deal of the photo and video productions. From there, a new partnership was born.
“What Rodrigo has started and the direction that he is headed was what intrigued us to work with him,” I know this business very, very well & have an extensive background in Martial Arts & the business of it. This is going to be big said Mark Pavelich, Owner of The Mark Consulting.

Resende has been training in jiu-jitsu and judo for nearly 30 years, and has ascended to the top of the world rankings with numerous championships and titles. But more so than the individual accolades, much more personal notes are what Resende recognizes as his greatest rewards.
“My biggest accomplishments on the mats are definitely the friends I made and the way martial arts have shaped my character and my life,” he said.
“Our goal is to provide to families all the benefits that Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo can offer in a very safe and positive environment.”
