We all know that a good leader leads by example, charging at challenges head first with confidence that overflows and gives new life to his team! Other than that get up and go get it attitude, what else personifies a leader?

1) Positive Attitude:
This mindset is what separates a winner from a loser, looking at the bright side of every situation is not just another quote for problem solvers, it’s a lifestyle. Being upbeat, energetic, honest, happy, and being active within their community are the actions that build trust. Those able to build strong and lasting relationships usually make good team captains.

2) Focused Mindset:

leaders carry goals lists, are task focused & detail orientated. They have an open mind and don’t look at issues from only one perspective; They have great listening skills and respect the opinion of their team but are always able to make the final decision & they can always explain the reason they made that choice with confidence.

3) Communication Skills:
Good leaders usually make great mediators for arguments, they know how to adapt & they express their desires with ease. They are very motivating and have the ability to hand out tough love but are also very empathetic and understanding. Readers aren’t necessarily leaders, but leaders are definitely readers, they tend to have a lengthy vocabulary however they will choose simple words over complex ones most of the time.

4) Growing:
“Even if you’re going in the right direction, if you stand still on the tracks, eventually you’ll be run over” This quote explains that without movement, without action, without change, without evolution, without innovation, without creativity, we have nothing. Absolutely nothing! Growing your mind, body, and spirit is what makes a great leader!
