You know that old cliché quote don’t mix business with friends & family, well I’m here to tell you to throw that mindset out the window. It’s not “just business” it’s your livelihood it’s your life.
Do you think that quote goes well for those in the military? Imagine saying, I had to leave him there, it’s okay its “Just Business”… Your co-workers are your family; they are your brothers, your sisters & your teammates. The same principal applies to any job from professional athlete to a driller on the rigs.
To take it a step further, the relationships you have and the network you build determines what level of success you will have. As an introvert I can relate to those who just want to work and don’t want to go out and connect, do lunches, talk, learn and communicate but to truly be successful you have to move out of your comfort zone and truly try to understand your peers, your family, your enemies, your friends, because they are the market, they are the masses.
DON’T ASK FOR DISCOUNTS
Support your friends businesses like you you support the celebrities who you’ve never met and probably don’t care who you are. Share your friends businesses, support their dreams and don’t ask for discounts, don’t ask for free tickets, don’t ask, just support and help them succeed.
Didn’t you know? Success is contagious, surround yourself with successful people and you too shall be successful.
People share stuff everyday on social media, political views, funny videos, pet videos, quotes, sexual jokes and other random stuff but for some reason they won’t share something to help support a friends business, why is that? This needs to change, we need to start being happy and wanting our friends to succeed!
